Finished test bag. I’ve had this vinyl for a bit

Finished test bag. I’ve had this vinyl for a bit and I think it looks perfect as a simple baguette bag. I used secondhand poly as a lining. Outer edges finished with piping.
I always go through the ebbs and flow of selling things I make. Because well, it takes a lot of damn time to make any garment and it’s expensive to acquire the appropriate tools to make something like this.. or anything ha. But I made a quick little Etsy today. And I’ll just be selling random things I make & feel like for now. I mostly really enjoy making bags. When I do, I like making multiples to test out design and construction. So this is where I may sell some of that stuff. I’ll be making a small batch dependent on material. Like other things I make, I work with what I have, second hand and natural fibre. Mini duffels 👝
I used remnants to make these or second hand materials. From fabrics for the outer & interior to the batting have all been remnants or second hand. And from here I’ll have more makes available to use up the remnants from making these bags. Ive noticed many sewists are usually hyper aware of the waste they create hah.
I also worked in little zip tabs on these duffles as well to utilize even a bit more of the very small scraps of fabric and batting.
Interior & exteriors along with bindings are 100% cotton. Most exteriors are a duck cloth. Batting’s are mostly poly & acrylic since I used second hand batting I found. But as it isn’t a garment that will be next to your skin is why I chose to use this.

I’m working on a handful for an order now but I’ll have some listed online soon or if you see one you would like let me know.
